Constructive features

The medium voltage Switchgear from Blutrafos Systems are air insulated and were developed to meet the requirements of the NBR, IEC 62271-200 and NR-10 norms. They are offered in the version for indoor or outdoor use, have a loss of service continuity category type LSC2B, and their medium voltage components are installed in compartments segregated by properly grounded metal partitions (PM division class).

The solution has a low voltage compartment dedicated to the installation of measuring, monitoring and protection equipment. This compartment is completely isolated from medium voltage and has exclusive access through the front.

Created to provide maximum protection and safety to operators, these switchgears are designed to withstand electric arcs due to internal faults, and are designated as AFLR in accordance with the IAC Classification.

Among the possible configurations, we highlight the use of vacuum circuit breakers in fixed and withdrawable versions, disconnecting switches, temperature and electric arc sensors.

Interlocks and Security

The Solution complies with the most rigorous reliability and security requirements. This equipment was designed to avoid possible improper operations that could put the safety of operators and the installation at risk.

• Below are some of these security devices:
• Circuit breaker insertion and extraction operations only with the door closed;
• It’s not possible to open or close the circuit breaker in intermediate positions;
• It’s not possible to insert the circuit breaker without connecting the control plug;
• Door opening only with circuit breaker in the removed position;
• Locking of doors and shutters using padlocks.
